I would have to say that I do too hold back certain aspects of my personality in face to face interactions. I would much rather explore that part of my social interest online where I would not be judged by my immediate friends. I would have to admit that I have the case of “identi-frag,” but I don’t think my whole self is fully represented online. Much like I would hold back a part of my personality in person, I do the same online. I do represent myself differently depending on the social media platform/ group, but I think certain parts of my personality would still not be fully translated through my online profiles.
