Comment on Crowd-Sourcing Answers on Facebook by Lily Fu

Crowd-sourcing on FaceBook is always kind of tricky in my opinion. I actually didn’t want to post something to my feed for fear that people wouldn’t respond. If I had to generalize what my online personality or brand was on facebook, it definitely wouldn’t correspond with me also posting something as a question for my friends to actually answer. I usually post things with my opinion, and let others respond if they wish, but even so, I don’t always respond to them. This sequence of events that I have put into place matters, because now it seems odd or inauthentic for me to actually want to hear what others have to say. Can we change how we are seen on the Internet? Or once we establish who we are, is it hard to go backwards for fear that other people might call BS on us?
